Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Sudan Electricity Company, Bushra Sarah, visited the citizens of the northern state, announcing the arrival of an agreement with the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt Electricity Company after the visit of Dr. Mohiuddin Naim Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Energy and Oil and his meeting with Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, to increase the electricity share received for the state through the Egyptian linking project.

She noted that this strategic step comes within the framework of the relentless efforts to address the power outages crisis, which was exacerbated as a result of the bombing of the transformational power stations and it is expected that this increase in electrical supply will contribute significantly to improving and stabilizing the current in the northern state.

For his part, Engineer, Advisor Abdullah Ahmed Mohamed Ali, Director General of the Sudan Electricity Company, stated that electricity will return to each state gradually, stressing that its distribution will take place according to the policy of fair distribution and the activation of the programming system according to the available quantity.

The Director General offered sincerely to the Minister of Energy and Oil for the great efforts that culminated in this great achievement. He also thanked the citizens of the northern state for their patience and their understanding of the grave challenges outside the will.

He called for the necessity of rationalizing consumption and understanding the programming required by the conditions of supply and affirmed the company’s commitment to make more continuous efforts to ensure the stability of electrical supply as soon as possible.
