Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Sudanese Authority for Standards and Metrology seized the Red Sea sector as quantities of expired food in a grocery in Port Sudan.
The seizures included: 22 chocolate crumbs, 88 minced garlic packages, 14 Nescafe packs, 22 baku white cheese, 9 barley drink packages, 48 luxurious flour packages, baku ting soap, 6 Ben boxes, 44 baku pico juice, 40 sauce, 22 sauce boxes.
Engineer Walid Mohamed Othman, Director of the Red Sea Sector stressed that this campaign comes within the framework of the industrial and service inspection program implemented by the authority on a daily basis and in response to consumer complaints through the number 5960.
Dr. Bahaa El -Din Kamal Abdel -Latif, Director of the Industrial and Service Inspection Department, explained that these efforts aim to protect consumers from unsafe and harmful products, and that the authority will continue to implement its inspection campaigns with the participation of the unified team for consumer protection (Supply and Consumer Protection), to ensure the safety of products in the markets.
