Prison forces issue an exciting “statements”

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Prison forces issued a statement denied the validity of transmitted statements attributed to Major General Al-Tayeb Ahmed Omar- Director of the National Prison Khartoum Bahri (Cooper) regarding the inmate of the inmates to return to prisons.

She said in a statement received by (Al -Zawiya Net) that the forces have mechanisms and committees that worked to restore the inmates’ data and work to ensure the rehabilitation of prisons to restore guests who have not completed their period, and that maintenance work in the aforementioned prison has not been completed and did not receive inmates yet.

The media called for investigating the accuracy in reporting the news and statements of the prison forces from the official pages of the approved forces or security authorities, and that everything that is published without this in any personal page is pure slander and fabrication and is being dealt with by legal means.

The Prison Police in Khartoum State announced the completion of the receipt and securing of all prisons and the role of education in the state, marking the launch of the last stage of comprehensive maintenance work, in preparation for restarting them and receiving guests.

She emphasized that the competent forces conducted searches and evaluation rounds of the damage to the facilities during the last period, including Cooper’s prisons, Omdurman for men and women, Western Soba, and imprisonment of Dak, along with the role of education for boys and girls.

He explained that the sabotage of the infrastructure – especially the electricity and sanitation systems committed by the rapid support militia that had temporarily controlled some of these sites, indicating the removal of electric generators and cables during that period.

He added that the police administration in the police actually began the implementation of maintenance and rehabilitation work, to ensure the readiness of the installations according to the required technical standards, stressing the police keenness to restore the institutional performance of the prison system as soon as possible.
