The Public Prosecutor, Mawlana Al -Fateh, Muhammad Issa Tayfour, Chairman of the National Committee for the Investigation of Crimes and Violations of National Law and International Humanitarian Law in his statement in front of the oral briefing session of the fact -finding committee on Sudan, the 59th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva to condemn the behavior of the rebel militia, consider it a terrorist group, prohibit its activities and movements, and classify the leaders of terrorist elements.
And to condemn the behavior of the UAE for its involvement in systematic violations and genocide in Sudan. And pressure to stop its support for the rebel militia and its obligation to pay compensation for the losses that were affected by Sudan and the Sudanese, indicating that the evidence gathered by the National Committee confirms its involvement in supporting the rebel militia.
The Public Prosecutor urged the countries of the region to cooperate with the National Committee to reach victims and witnesses, recover looted, exclude any alternative external mechanism and enhance complementarity between the Council and the National Committee.
He recommended to end the mandate of the fact -finding mission and support the National Committee to complete its duties.
Mawlana Tayfour said in his statement to the council that the rebel militia committed genocide and outside the law in the state of Al -Jazeera, the regions of Al -Geneina, Radda, Al -Jamaya, Al -Salih, Al -Abyad, Al -Judaud, and Zamzam and Abu Shok camp.
And that the rebel militia violated the rights of children by recruiting 9,000 of them forcibly pushed them to the battlefields, and also used gangs of foreign mercenaries from more than (12) countries that the UAE recruited in a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Mawlana Al -Fateh revealed that the investigations conducted by the National Committee showed that the cases of concealment and forced detention caused by the rebel militia reached 14,506 cases, as well as the liquidation of the prisoners, and the discovery of 965 mass graves, in addition to the deliberate militia to target civilian notables and destroy them in a systematic way by using marches, including the role of sheltering, airports, dams, dams and stations Electricity generation, Port Sudan port, fuel warehouses, hospitals and prisons.
