France hosts meetings in Lyon on Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The French city of Leon hosts a forum dedicated to solving the Sudanese crisis.
According to the French press, it will be held from June 19 to 21 in the French city of Lyon, a workshop for the Sudanese Businessmen Club in the Diaspora (SDIBC), which is organized by the French Promidctation Organization with financial support from the American International Special Projects Center (CIPE).

It is claimed that this workshop aims to attract investments for projects in the fields of agriculture, technology and energy with the participation of Sudanese in the Diaspora countries in Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. Although the workshop organizers claim that they are non -political, the list of invitees indicates a political nature.

According to diplomatic sources, under the guise of an economic workshop, the French organization “Bromsion”, at the request of the French authorities, is preparing the city of Lyon for negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Sudan.

Representatives from the Sumoud and Establishment Alliance, including Suleiman Sandal and the leader of the SPLM – North Abdulaziz Al -Helou, confirmed their participation in the workshop.

The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to France, Fahd Saeed Al -Raqbani, the Ambassador of Uganda to Sudan, and the military attaché of the Ukrainian embassy in France, Vadim Kochma, will also participate in this event. The participation of representatives of the armed forces or the sovereignty council was not reported.
