The Prime Minister is making the first international call to save the health situation

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Dr. Kamel Al-Tayeb Idris, the Prime Minister, made a phone call to Dr. Tadros Adhanum, Director General of the World Health Organization, to interfere in saving the health situation in Sudan as a result of cholera spread.

According to the Sudan News Agency, the telephone communication dealt with the role of the organization in facing the spread of cholera and working on the need to unify efforts, especially since the procedures followed so far did not lead to achieving the goals we aspire to.

Idris stressed the need to overcome traditional frameworks to provide effective solutions, and to establish a regional framework that is the reference and the basis for unifying efforts if the rapid spread of such deadly diseases, demanded to provide tools, support the necessary capabilities and assistance, and develop the national plan to combat and implement them effectively, including: support, technical assistance, and partnership at the local and global levels.

For his part, Tadros Adhanum, Dr. Kamel Al -Tayeb Idris, congratulated his appointment as Prime Minister, appreciating the initiative to contact, indicating that he will direct his team from the organization’s presidency in Geneva and the regional office in Cairo to conduct what is necessary quickly.
