The Kassala government clarifies the circumstances of the arrest of a journalist

Kassala- Hamed Ibrahim- Omar Othman Adam, Minister of Social Development, Deputy Governor of Kassala, denied the existence of any relationship with the arrest of the journalist Abdel-Jalil Mohamed Abdel-Jalil.

In a statement (Lorifa), Othman expressed his amazement at his name in the matter.

He said that the state government respects the freedom of the press and does not be upset with constructive criticism, and stressed that Abdel -Jalil was arrested after a report was published in his confrontation with the Informatics Prosecution by laziness by the Hajj and Umrah Administration and he will be dealt with according to the law and that all his rights are protected, including his right to release him with a guarantee.
