A southern Sudanese pilot was killed in an air strike in Nyala

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The pilot south of Sudanese named Samsun Ohaid was killed after the plane that was participating in its leadership was exposed to an air strike in Nyala, the capital of Darfur State.

Ohii was on a private Kenyan cargo plane contracted to hand over supplies to Nyala, a city under the control of the militia.

A source in Juba said that the plane was bombed by warplanes belonging to the Sudanese armed forces while unloading its cargo at Nyala Airport on Saturday.

It is reported that the bombing caused the deaths of others, including members of the militia and the crew of the plane.

While the Republic of South Sudan has not yet issued a statement, sources from the Sudanese army confirmed the attack.

Ohaid was holding the position of Secretary -General of the South Sudan Foundation, and social media was immersed by messages mourning the pilot by family members, friends and colleagues who remember him as a nice and diligent pilot. He served as a pilot assistant on the fateful trip.
