The Sudanese army thwarts an attack on the city

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A senior security source in the state of North Kordofan said that the Sudanese army, through the Fifth Division, in coordination with other security services, was able to thwart an attempt to attack on the city of Al-Abyad, after the destruction of a force of the fast support militia was preparing to carry out the attack this morning.

The source confirmed, according to the Sudanese journalist, that the armed forces suppressed the attackers of great losses in lives and equipment.

He pointed out that pre -emptive operations succeeded in eliminating the threat before reaching the city’s surroundings.

The source confirmed that the armed forces and the security services are fully prepared to deal with any hostile attempts by the Rapid Support Militia, stressing their commitment to protect the security and stability of the region.
