The Ethiopian authorities shock the “Samoud” alliance led by Hamdouk with harsh decisions

Addis Ababa- Al-Zawiya Net- Two sources said that the Ethiopian authorities prevented the establishment of a workshop for the “Samoud” alliance led by former Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk.

One of the sources in the “Samoud” coalition, according to Sudan Tribune, reported that the authorities officially informed the coalition not to allow any activities on Ethiopian lands, without clarifying the reasons, according to the source.

The coalition announced the launch of a peace workshop and the social fabric on 25 and 26, with the participation of dozens of religious figures, civil administrations and creative sectors.

Another source in “Samoud” reserved commenting on the decision of the Ethiopian authorities, saying that “the coalition faced difficulties in holding the workshop in Addis Ababa and decided to transfer it to one of the African capitals.”
