Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The country arrives during the coming days, the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by its ambassador to Sudan to discuss the support that can be provided in the field of basic services for the citizen of energy, electricity, health and water.

The Kingdom expressed its desire to identify the government’s priorities for the necessary development and needs in the aforementioned field, and Finance Minister Gabriel Ibrahim welcomed the Kingdom’s initiative and its support for the efforts made to rebuild and reconstruct what was destroyed by the war.

During an expanded meeting, with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, ministers and representatives of ministries and federal units, he stressed the importance of focusing on urgent emergency projects in the areas of infrastructure and basic services.

Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Youssef described the Kingdom’s step as a qualitative shift in the direction towards infrastructure projects and the reconstruction of Sudan.

The ministers unanimously agreed on the priority of the aforementioned basic services, as well as focusing on the projects of the agricultural sector and the education sector and the infrastructure destroyed by the war. The importance of the Kingdom’s initiative to enhance cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries was emphasized and moved to welcoming horizons to achieve common interests.
