The UAE strongly denies its involvement in the Sudan war

The UAE official stressed that the UAE’s efforts to enhance its influence in the countries of the continent, especially through promises to invest billions of dollars in the energy, services, technology and real estate sectors, “driven by common values ​​and a vision for sustainable development and comprehensive growth.”

Analysts believe that African governments are still in urgent need of foreign partners to develop their economies, and the UAE can, at a relatively low cost for a rich oil state, to build its influence quickly on the continent through investment deals and humanitarian aid.

It is noteworthy that Sudan had announced in early May to cut diplomatic relations with the Emirates, accusing it of launching a “aggression” against the country, by supporting the rapid support forces in its war against the Sudanese army. On more than one occasion, the UAE denied providing any chain of support for rapid support, and stressed its lack of interference in the internal affairs of Sudan.
