Sudan Electricity Company explains – Al -Zawiya Net

Port Sudan- Al-Zawiya Net- The media coordination of the Sudan Electricity Company said that several Sudanese states witnessed a break in the electrical current, as a result of technical breakdowns in the extended national network.

The appearance of these breakdowns suddenly led to the activation of the protection system, causing the power generation to be stopped from the Meroe Dam.

He stated that the engineers and maintenance teams worked in full swing around the clock to repair breakdowns and restart the generation units in the Merway Dam gradually.

The efforts were successful and the process of returning the electricity to the affected states began.
