Egypt closes two Sudanese universities – Al -Zawiya Net

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, Dr. Ayman Ashour, issued a decision to close the universities of “Science and Technology and the University of Sudan for Science and Technology” to seize them practicing academic activities within the Egyptian lands without the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education or the relevant authorities, in violation of the law of establishing and organizing branches of foreign universities inside Egypt.

The decision, according to the Al -Dustour newspaper website, decided to close the “Arab Experts for Engineering and Administration”, in Mokattam, because it had educational activities without obtaining the necessary licenses from the competent authorities, in addition to renting its headquarters and halls for the two Sudanese universities
