Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Major General Babiker Youssef Babiker, Acting Director General of the Customs Forces, visited the Port Sudan International Airport Customs Department, during which he stood on the progress of performance.

Major General Babiker affirmed the great efforts made by the customs forces in various customs stations, the qualitative disciplines that it achieves and received a detailed enlightenment on the progress of performance and challenges facing the airport, and promised to overcome all obstacles and harness the capabilities to provide needs and improve the work environment.

During his tour of the halls and the Tarmak area, he reassured the course of customs procedures and the performance of X -ray detectors in the arrival and departure halls. He also met with Othman Al -Awad Al -Siddiq, Director of State Airports and Mr. Yahya Ahmed Mohamed Ali, Director of Port Sudan Airport, and the insurance during the meeting was on a number of issues that would improve the performance of the airport, while emphasizing the need to unify efforts between all relevant authorities to facilitate and accelerate passenger movement, while tightening customs control.

In a related context, Major General Babiker and his accompanying delegation stood on the large seizure of the Southern Port Customs Department.

He explained that (2880) weighing (25) kilograms of active carbon, declared in documents as other goods, was seized, along with (756) cartons of nutritional supplements (fruit pills) that are not registered with the Ministry of Health that were charged with a shipment of healthy ponds.

This process has shown the experience and professionalism of the customs forces, which has always made it on the date to address any attempts to violate the security and economy of the country.
