The African Union is hitting a new blow to the steadfast alliance led by Hamdouk on Sudan

Port Sudan- Al-Zawiya Net- Mahmoud Ali, head of the African Union Commission, stressed that the Union stands alongside Sudan to support peace, national dialogue, the end of the transitional period, and the organization of free elections so that Sudan enjoys political stability and security.

He said in a congratulatory message he sent to Ambassador Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddiq, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of his appointment as Foreign Minister: Congratulations on your appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Republic of Sudan.

Mahmoud added: “I am sure that your choice of this position indicates the competencies and confidence that you enjoy by the head of the Sovereign Council and the rest of the leaders in the brotherly Sudan.”

The Samoud Alliance, led by Abdullah Hamdouk, criticized the welcome of the President of the African Union Mahmoud Ali for appointing Kamel Idris as Prime Minister in Sudan.

He said that this violates the systems of the African Union, which does not recognize the legitimacy of any government in Sudan since the coup that occurred on October 25.
