Port Sudan- The Sudanese Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Khalil Pasha Cyerin, revealed details of the file of the dismissed police officers in February 2020 at a time when the door was shocked in front of their return to service a collective photo.

He confirmed the presentation of an offer to the dismissed officers to settle the file, which is to return them to service and upgrade with their colleagues and then refer to retirement on the pension structure in the year 2022.

The team said that the dismissed asked for a financial settlement on the pension of the year 2023 and pointed to the doubling of the financial cost if they respond to their demands and hinted to the difficulty of that.

Pasha stressed that the dismissed people did not return to the service collectively, and added that they could be submitted to the return requests individually.

He drew attention to the fact that the numbers of them reached the age of retirement, and the Minister of the Interior stressed that the police establishment will not oppress its children who served for the sake of the homeland and the people.

The decision of the Ministry of Interior was issued to return the officers to work immediately, disburse all their financial dues, and consider the period they spent outside the service for a continuous period, while a copy of the decision was sent to the sovereign council.
