The Sudan Consulate in Jeddah issued it to the Sudanese citizens residing and honorable visitors in the western and southern region, under the directives issued by the Saudi authorities with the approaching Hajj season, and must be adhered to.
She said that in the context of the ongoing preparations for the Hajj season this year 1446 AH, the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced a number of arrangements and procedures aimed at preserving the safety of the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, and performing the Hajj pilgrimage with security, ease and reassurance.
She pointed out that, accordingly, the deadline for pilgrims to enter the Kingdom on Sunday 15 Shawwal 1446 AH corresponding to April 13, 2025 AD.
And that the last date for the pilgrims to leave the Kingdom on Tuesday 1 of Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH corresponding to April 29, 2025 AD.
She noted that starting from Wednesday, 25 Shawwal 1446 AH corresponding to April 23, 2025 AD, residents wishing to enter the Holy Capital will have to obtain permits to do so from the concerned authorities, and prevent the entry of residents who do not have regular permits to the Holy Capital and return them from where they came.
The consulate confirmed that the entry permits to the city of Makkah Al -Mukarramah include the residents who have an entry permit to work in the holy sites issued by the competent authority, or who holds the identity of a resident issued by the Holy Capital, or who have Hajj permits.
She noted that the issuance of permits to enter the Holy Capital for residents working during the Hajj season is electronically through the “Absher individuals” and “resident gate”.
She confirmed the suspension of the issuance of Umrah permits through the “Nesk” platform for the citizens of the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council states and residents within the Kingdom and other visa holders from Tuesday (1 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH corresponding to April 29, 2025 AD) until Monday (14 Dhu al -Hijjah 1446 AH corresponding to June 10, 2025 AD).
And the lack of allowing the entry of the city of Makkah Al -Mukarramah or the stay of it for all the types of visas, with the exception of those with a pilgrimage visa, as of Tuesday (1 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH corresponding to April 29, 2025 AD).
The Ministry of Interior called for the commitment to the instructions organizing the Hajj season this year, and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to achieve the security and safety of the guests of Rahman, and that violating these instructions exposes the perpetrators to regular penalties.
