The National Congress rejects a European invitation to participate in a dialogue on Sudan in Qatar

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The National Congress announced its categorical rejection of meeting an invitation it received to participate in the consultations on the political process organized by the Pro Mediachen in Doha during the period from 11-13 April 2025 AD

He added, “This organization has previously organized a consultative meeting in Geneva during this year and included some Sudanese political forces, and this did not contribute to stopping the Sudanese bloodshed, but everyone mentions the complexity and blessing of that workshop in the political scene in Sudan.

Haroun pointed out in a statement that in terms of the participating parties, the organization called on what it called the Islamic Parties Group to participate in these consultations !! With our acknowledgment and our pride in our Islamic intellectual origins, but we understand Islam in a broad national context, all the people of Sudan can with various religions and cultures and the matter in the era of citizenship is based as a basis for rights and duties, so it was not surprising that the National Congress within its membership included a number of Christians, and the call to this form adds another complication to the Sudanese scene, we are not in the face of it. Our religion as a unit factor, not a division factor.
