The monopoly of “Estarlink” devices – Al -Zawiya Net

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A number of owners of space internet devices “Starlink” in Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, said that the joint force in Al-Fasher monopolized the operation of “Wi-Fi” for its elements only, after being banned by the army last February.

One of the owners of the agencies, who was working in the Naifasha market, preferred to block his name to “Darfur 24”, that the “Astralink service has become exclusive to the intelligence of the joint power and collaborators with the army.

He added that “the city of El -Fasher is divided into sectors, some of which are for joint intelligence and others for the army, as the latter allowed the sectors for the owners of devices from citizens to sneak in their activities, while the sectors that are supervised by the joint are still the service are monopolized for their elements only.”

Another source revealed that the joint force intelligence stipulated that the owners of the Astriclink paid 50 thousand Sudanese pounds per day to engage in them, but that the Wi -Fi owners refused this.

He confirmed the raising of the service tariff, as the (10) minutes are sold at 1,000 Sudanese pounds, after they committed users to use these minutes for financial transfers only, without browsing social media and others.
