Sudanese Finance Minister Gabriel Ibrahim discussed with the Minister of Finance in the Sultanate of Oman Sultan bin Salem Al-Habsi ways to enhance and develop the prospects for economic and banking cooperation between our two brothers, especially in the areas of gold export, livestock products, and digital transformation.
Gabriel said that the meeting took place on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Arab financial bodies held in the State of Kuwait, and it was agreed to form joint technical teams between the central banks in Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman, in a way that contributes to advancing banking cooperation and enhances mutual economic interests.
He expressed his appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman, government and people, for the generous support it provides to the Sudanese citizens residing in it, and to facilitate their residence procedures, especially during this delicate stage that our country is going through.
