Sudan Electricity Clarifies Reasons for Power Outages and Affirms Efforts to Restore Service

Sudan Electricity Holding Company issued a statement in which it thanked the patience of citizens for long periods of cutting off in the current circumstances and high temperatures.

She said that the pieces are due to a lack of level of Sadi Atbara and City caused by a decrease in water import and stock consumption.

She indicated that the eastern network was unable to link the national network due to the collapse of the towers as a result of the rebel militia attack.

She noted that work is currently underway to maintenance and rehabilitation for the transport network and the return of electrical supply as soon as possible
