Strong protests in eastern Darfur

Today, the Naqa area of Yassin locality in East Darfur State witnessed widespread protests against the Rapid Support Militia, known as the Al -Dahin Sector Forces, after the killing of a citizen.

The events started when three militia members tried to terrorize a mechanical workshop and refused to pay the spare parts. When he protested, they fired five bullets that I wanted to be killed inside the workshop.

The accident sparked anger, and a large number of them gathered, some of them armed, arrested the perpetrators and took them to the police station, where the forces there tried to protect them, release them and hand them their vehicles, but the number of protesters increased, and they surrounded the department, repeating anti -militia chants, which led to the flight of the police and the perpetrators amid a heavy exchange of fire.

After that, the citizens stormed the department and set fire to the property and the papers inside it, as they burned the vehicle of the perpetrators until the moment of writing the news, a purity area is still outside the control of the militia, amid a state of tension and anticipation.
