Statements from the United States about the attacks on Port Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The United States said that the recent attacks with drones launched by the Rapid Support Forces, on vital infrastructure and other civilian targets in Port Sudan and all over the country, are a dangerous escalation in the Sudanese conflict.

It expressed our deep concern about the deterioration of the situation and reports received about the violence of the rapid support forces against civilians and relief workers in and around the city of El Fasher, north of Darfur.

She called for the provision of humanitarian paths without obstacles and the protection of civilians, including providing a safe passage for civilians fleeing violence and it is also necessary for foreign authorities to refrain from arming the warring parties.
