The Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Eng. Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji, warned of any steps or measures taken outside the framework of the official institutions of the Sudanese state, which is a prejudice to the unity of Sudan, a violation of legitimacy, and a transgression of the will of his people.
He added, “The Kingdom is warned against calls for the formation of a parallel government or any alternative entity, as it is illegal attempts to threaten the political path, deepen the division, and disturb efforts to reach a comprehensive national solution.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs renewed the Kingdom’s assertion that the solution to the crisis is a Sudanese-Sudanese political solution that respects the sovereignty and unity of Sudan and is based on supporting the institutions of the Sudanese state.
He stressed that what is happening in Sudan not only affects the people of Sudan, but rather a threat to regional stability and Arab and African national security.
He said, “Our collective responsibility provides us with redoubling efforts to support the course of dialogue, ceaseing fire, providing urgent humanitarian aid, and preserving state institutions from collapse, preserving its unity, the integrity of its lands and its capabilities.”
He reviewed the diplomatic efforts of the Kingdom since the outbreak of the crisis in order to resolve the Sudanese crisis, saying: “Since the outbreak of the crisis, the Kingdom has led diplomatic efforts to resolve the Sudanese crisis, which was to host Jeddah’s discussions (1) and Jeddah (2).
They resulted in the signing of the parties to the dispute over the Jeddah Declaration“ to adhere to the protection of civilians in Sudan ”, and the short -term ceasefire agreement and humanitarian arrangements. (2) The humanitarian platform headed by “Usha”, approval of four procedures to build confidence, and agree to a formula to solve the issue of abstracts.
His Excellency added: “Stopping the external support of the parties to the parties of the conflict is a fundamental issue that is necessary to create a real ceasefire environment, and open the way for a comprehensive political solution.”
