Manawi accuses Al،Hadath channel of lacking credibility

The press office of the ruler of the Darfur province, Leader of Mona Arko Minawi, said in a clarification statement that the meeting broadcast by the “Al-Hadath” channel with Minawi was registered some time ago and was broadcast as direct without mentioning this, which was considered by the office contrary to the simplest media credibility standards.
He pointed out that despite the waiting of the meeting at the time, he was surprised by the rest of the Sudanese people to broadcast this old meeting as if it were direct, at a time when our people in the city of El Fasher, and the locality of Umm Kaddah are from the scourge of displacement, murder and rape.
The office pointed out that what Al -Hadath channel did “reflect a failure to investigate accuracy and test credibility in front of the Sudanese people,” stressing his rejection of what he described as “media manipulation”, especially at this critical time.
The statement added: “We note that the ruler’s luxury is outside the city of Port Sudan a few days ago, and we renew our call to all media professionals and journalists to adhere to the ethics of media work and respect the sensitivity of the current circumstance,” stressing that “the transfer of the truth without fraud is what frees our people from the trumpets of the rebel rapid support militia.”
