Egypt makes an important decision on Sudanese businessmen

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade in the Republic of Egypt agreed to the recommendations of the Sudanese Businessmen Forum, which was held on the twenty-third of last January in cooperation with the General Investment Authority and the Egyptian Commercial Representation Agency of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Sudanese Ambassador to the Egyptian Ambassador Imad Adawi expressed the thanks and appreciation of the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade for his generous patronage and his adoption of the forum’s recommendations, expressing his gratitude for the efforts of the General Investment Authority and Free Zones and the Egyptian Commercial Representation Authority in organizing the forum in coordination with the embassy and its exit with recommendations that reflect the volume of opportunities and investment prospects available to the two countries.

The forum’s outputs included the following recommendations: The General Investment Authority and the Egyptian Commercial Representation Authority were welcome to support the endeavors of the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Cairo to prepare for the activities of the Egyptian Sudanese Businessmen Forum in its second edition to be held this year.

The Egyptian side is prepared by the General Investment Authority to facilitate the allocation of a plot of land for Sudanese businessmen to establish an industrial complex that includes service and logistical parts.

The readiness of the Egyptian Investment Authority to adopt a cooperation mechanism with the embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Cairo, the Sudanese Employers Union and the Chambers of Commerce to facilitate the granting of investors investment residence in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as businessmen visas.

The Egyptian Investment Authority has communicated with the Central Bank of Egypt to develop a sufficient guarantee mechanism for banks, in order to enhance the entry of Sudanese investors into huge partnerships and investments.

The General Authority for Investment and Commercial Representation is welcome to arrange meetings between Sudanese and Egyptian businessmen in the framework of specific work areas, with the readiness of the General Investment Authority and free zones to arrange a meeting of Sudanese businessmen with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority to discuss areas and opportunities for cooperation in a way that serves the enhancement of investment relations between Sudan and Egypt

Enhancing cooperation in the health sector and promoting investment cooperation in the field of medical tourism, especially with the distinction of the Egyptian experience in this pioneering sector.
