Attack on the passenger train from Atbara to Port Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The passenger train from Atbara to Port Sudan was stoned while leaving the city of Atbara, in a strange and disturbing incident.

The Sudan Railways Authority, the office of the Director of the Northern Region, announced that it had informed the competent authorities of the incident as soon as it occurred.

This came during the meeting of the Control headed by Eng. Counselor Omar Hashem, Director of the Northern Region, and in the presence of his assistants, where it was confirmed that the train was launched on its specified date at the fourth on Monday afternoon, and was attacked during his walk.

It should be noted that the East Train had faced during the past week an objection incident by trucks on its path outside Atbara, in addition to previous sabotage attempts targeting bars, which caused some vehicles to slip.
