The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, met Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, today, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed, in addition to reviewing the areas of joint cooperation at various levels and ways to develop them for the good of the two peoples.
The meeting also touched on the developments of the situation in Sudan, the efforts to achieve peace, reconstruction and reconstruction, and discuss the most prominent regional and international developments and issues of common concern.
The President of the Sovereignty Council expressed his appreciation for Turkey’s positions that support Sudan in regional and international forums, to preserve its sovereignty and the unity of its lands, its continuous support to the Sudanese people, and to provide humanitarian aid to it during the Sudanese crisis.
For his part, the Turkish President welcomed the visit of the President of the Sovereignty Council, praising the distinction of bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing his intention to push them to welcomed horizons to achieve the common interests of the two countries and two brotherly peoples.
He renewed Türkiye’s keenness to continue support for Sudan, and to support all efforts that would achieve security, stability and peace in Sudan, stressing his country’s standing by the people and the Sudanese government to overcome the current challenges.
