Lieutenant -General Mahjoub Bushra, Commander of the Red Sea Military Region, revealed during an official enlightenment of diplomatic missions in Port Sudan yesterday, serious details related to the terrorist attack that targeted the city with suicide bomber planes, accusing the UAE of implementing it from military bases outside the border.

Therefore, it was remarkable in the statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the attacks on Port Sudan yesterday, to ensure an important signal for the first time, when the statement stipulated: “Such actions represent a threat to regional stability and Arab and African national security”, and in front of Saudi Arabia two options now to deal with this serious security and commercial threat:

The first: To stop the UAE, at a variety of pressure, which it knows and glorified, and Saudi Arabia is estimated at any practices that threaten the security of the Red Sea, by stopping the misfortunes that target any region in its coasts, including all all areas on the Sudanese coast. Saudi Arabia is required to take this position because what is happening represents a direct threat to its security and economy.

The second: to help Sudan defeat the rebellion and defend itself, by enabling it from effective means to protect its security, borders and atmosphere.

Sudan will not be the biggest losers if the Red Sea ignites, as Sudan’s trade, its exports and imports does not exceed 6 billion dollars when it was at the height of its recovery, and now the number does not exceed 2 billion dollars.

While Saudi Arabia’s oil and non -oil exports are estimated at about one billion US dollars per day.

Egypt will also be one of the biggest losers if the Red Sea flames, as we will see in the next episode of this article.
