A statement from the Communications Regulatory Authority regarding the entry of a Qatar Telecom Company to Sudan

Port Sudan- Al-Zawiya Net- The telecommunications and mail regulator denied the entry of a Qatari telecommunications company to the Sudanese market, to compete with the existing telecommunications companies, “Zain, Sudanese, and MTN”.

He said that these news is incorrect and is not based on any official information, and the agency affirmed its commitment to organizing and developing the telecommunications sector in Sudan in cooperation with all companies operating in this field.

He called on everyone to be careful and not to be drawn into rumors that may harm the interests of the telecommunications sector, and renewed his assertion that his doors are open to answering any inquiries or clarifications for public opinion.
