Decisions from the Governor of Khartoum on fuel

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza, directed the necessity of imposing strict control on fuel distribution operations inside service stations and expediting the reduction of crowds and preventing the accumulation of vehicles in a manner that reduces the suffering of citizens and waiting for long hours in the rows to obtain fuel.

The governor stood on the progress of fuel distribution operations with a number of service stations in Omdurman locality, in the context of the intensive efforts made by the state government to contain the shortage of fuel due to the destruction of the main warehouses in the Red Sea state due to the sabotage carried out by the rebel militia by targeting vital and service facilities in the country concerned with providing services to citizens.

The governor of Khartoum stressed during the field tour that the current crisis is temporary, noting that the state government is working in full coordination with the federal government to secure petroleum supplies and ensure its flow to citizens and vital sectors, especially the transportation and production sector.

The governor also directed the Public Transport and Petroleum Department to organize distribution operations through the supervising committee, which includes all the competent security services, indicating the importance of activating the decisions of the state security committee to prevent the supply of motorcycles with fuel in addition to preventing fuel mobilization outside car tanks and preventing any violations in filling fuel.

The traffic police also directed the deployment in service stations to facilitate the movement of vehicles, ensure the ownership of the Raksha and Tikkak, and to seize any vehicle in violation of the Traffic Law to prevent fuel leakage outside the official channels.

To that, the governor of Khartoum reassured the citizens that the crisis is on its way to release, calling for cooperation with the competent authorities to preserve stability and miss the opportunity for the parties that seek to destabilize the economic and service conditions in the country.
