The huge Russian shipping ship carries heavy shipments to Port Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Russian shipping ship “Crystal Vladovostok” (No. IMO: 9251509) is currently to Port Sudan, loaded with heavy loads.

Russia has discussed with Sudan a 25 -year agreement that allows Russia to create a naval base in Port Sudan, which will accommodate this base of up to 300 individuals and four ships, ensuring a Russian marine presence in the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. On the other hand, Russia will provide Sudan with military equipment.

In April 2024, Russia offered “unrestricted qualitative military aid” to the Sudanese army, with the aim of strengthening bilateral military relations.
