The League of Arab States adopts a decision on Sudan

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Council of the League of Arab States, at the level of foreign ministers, has adopted the clause of peace and development support in Sudan, which included emphasizing solidarity with the Sudanese people in its endeavor to secure its capabilities, protect its land, vital infrastructure, and preserve its sovereignty, independence, and the unity of its lands.

The Council refused to interfere in the affairs of Sudan, and to enhance its efforts in preserving its national institutions and preventing its collapse

The Council stressed that Sudan’s security is an integral part of Arab national security, and the importance of the role of the Arab League in defending the unity, safety and stability of all member states. He also called on all Arab countries and Arab organizations to provide humanitarian and development support.

This came during the meetings of the League of Arab States at the level of the preparatory foreign ministers of the Arab and economic sections to be held next Saturday in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Sudan’s delegation was chaired by Ambassador Hussein Al -Amin Al -Fadil, the cost of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge, who explained that the meeting was safe for full solidarity with Sudan by the government and people.

He added that the owners of the Excellencies informed the Arab foreign ministers on the reality of the situation in the country and the humanitarian and development efforts made to enhance the response to various current challenges.

The agent expressed Sudan’s appreciation of the supportive and continuous Arab positions, stressing that Sudan is always keen to enhance the engagement with the Arab League and its various institutions, especially in light of the reconstruction phase that the country is looking for.

The participating delegation of Sudan included the Ambassador, Lieutenant General Imad Al -Din Mustafa Adawi – Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Abdel -Azim Muhammad Sadiq Al -Karwi, Director General of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Abdel Rahim Sir Al -Khatam, Sudan’s ambassador to Iraq.
