Arman reveals a rare opportunity for Sudan in Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The leader of the Samoud Alliance, Yasser Arman, said that the important visit of US President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia comes amid regional and international developments and issues that have a great impact on geopolitical and the future of the region.

He pointed out in a tweet on the X platform that Saudi Arabia and the United States are the two sponsors of the Jeddah initiative to stop and end the war in Sudan. This visit constitutes a rare opportunity to revive the initiative and push it forward with other regional and international partners.

Arman stressed that the war in Sudan has profound repercussions on issues related to the Red Sea and Immigration – whoever does not find the right to remain in his country will search for it in others as well as affecting terrorism and its regional and global complications, as well as the suffering of millions of displaced people internally in Sudan when watching the collapse of the health system and famine, the Sudanese war affects the neighboring countries, many of which are witnessing instability.

He added, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shared, among other ties, proximity relations, common interests, culture, history, sea, geography, mosque, and common humanity – in addition to millions of Sudanese professionals and others who immigrated there to work, and we share a common future.”

Arman noted that millions of Sudanese hope that the US President’s visit to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states will contribute to strengthening the agenda of ending war and achieving peace. They seek a human ceasefire that enables the Sudanese people to explore their country’s future, close the separation of war crimes, human rights violations, and silence the rifles that turned against the people.
