Badr Aviation Company determines an alternative to “Port Sudan Airport”

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Badr Aviation Company announced the inclusion of the city of Atbara as a destination within its reservation system, in a preliminary move towards the resumption of flights to the city in the near future.

Although there is no official date for operating flights yet, this step reflects the company’s seriousness in operating the Atbara line within its local destination network.

Sources within the company confirmed that work is underway to complete the necessary operational and technical procedures, in coordination with the competent authorities, in preparation for the launch of trips once all the requirements are met. It is expected that the restart of this line will contribute to facilitating the movement of passengers and enhancing the air link between the capital and the historical city.

It is noteworthy that the city of Atbara is one of the vital axes in northern Sudan, and it has a strategic location that makes it an attraction for commercial and tourism activities, which makes it to re -link it air by a move of great importance to both travelers and the economic sector.
