Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A soldier of the Rapid Support Forces died after a panic attack after the bombing of Nyala Airport, while he was waiting for travel outside the country for treatment, according to one of his relatives told Darfur 24.
Nyala Airport in South Darfur state was bombed last Saturday, killing a number of rapid support and the destruction of a cargo plane and a transport vehicle, without affecting the air airport.
A soldier of the soldier told Darfur 24 that Hassan Fadl Al -Karim (38 years old) was injured during the battles between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in El Fasher in February, where he was transferred to Nyala for treatment.
He added, “It was decided to transfer him to receive treatment outside Sudan, after his health deteriorated.”
He pointed out that Hassan was in the courtyard of Nyala Airport awaiting his treatment flight, when an army plane launched air strikes on the airport, causing severe panic, after which he was transferred to the hospital, where he passed away the next day.
A relative of the late soldier mourned on his Facebook page, noting that his death was the result of “a bug that he did not long”, without going into more details.
