The League of Arab States fails to reconcile between Sudan and the UAE

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Assistant Secretary-General of the “League of Arab States”, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, said that the crisis between Sudan and the Emirates is a “difficult and thorny issue”, may not affect the aspects of work within the Arab League in general, but it will definitely affect the smoothness of work when discussing the crisis in Sudan in light of the different positions.

Zaki revealed, according to the Middle East journalist, that there are Arab efforts, at the level of the “university”, and at the bilateral level, they are made to bridge the rift between Sudan and the UAE without cliches in the interest of any of the two parties, which are efforts that have not coincided with the required success yet.

The Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent delegates confirmed its full solidarity with Sudan and the brotherly Sudanese people in its endeavor to secure its capabilities and protect its lands and vital infrastructure.

He stressed that Sudan’s security is an integral part of the Arab national security and that the Arab League will remain an active platform in defending the unity of all Arab member states, and its hand and stability.

The Council called on Arab countries and organizations to provide urgent humanitarian support to the brotherly Sudanese people and rehabilitate the affected facilities in the Republic of Sudan, and to increase the humanitarian response in a way that enhances Sudan’s steadfastness in facing any threats to its unity and existence, and overcoming the disastrous effects experienced by the Sudanese people.
