The file includes evidence of killings, torture and mass rape, with a focus on the principle of “leadership responsibility”, which states that rapid support leaders are responsible for these violations.

The file indicated that the evidence available about the involvement of other countries in supporting the rapid support forces to commit these violations, and the file requests the International Criminal Court to open the investigation of the militia’s involvement in these violations.

The main lawyer, Dr. Lucia Breeskova, told the Guardian that this file will contribute to combating impunity from the punishment that many suffer in Darfur and in Sudan.

Sir Howard Morrison, the former international judge, indicated that the comprehensive and convincing file, in his opinion, is characterized by superior quality and value.
