Resolution on bank applications in Sennar

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Governor of Sennar issued two new things in the context of the state of the state declared in the state, which included the prohibition of using firearms on occasions, and preventing usurious exchange through electronic payment applications.

The emergency order No. (1) of 2025 stated that firearms are prohibited in public and private celebrations, including by members of the regular and support forces, with the exception of security cases that require the performance of the duty in accordance with the law and regulations organized. The matter also obligated the organizational authorities to obtain prior approval by the state police.

The decision stipulates that violators are punished with a fine of no less than two million pounds or a prison for a period ranging between two months and six months, or the two penalties together, with the confiscation of the weapon used in the violation.

As for the emergency order No. (2), the governor was banned by any increases in commodity prices when paying through electronic payment applications, and usurious exchange in these operations was considered a crime that requires punishment.

The penalties include a fine of no less than one million pounds and not more than five million, with the possibility of imprisonment for a period not exceeding two months or the application of the two penalties together, in addition to the confiscation of the funds and devices that were seized in the event of a violation.
