The Japan Embassy in Sudan issues a statement

She said that this conflict led to the consequences and crises devastating to deaths, injuries, atrocities, arrests, destruction, forced displacement, famine, violence based on gender, insecurity, disruption of education, livelihood activities, and blurring Sudanese infrastructure, which affects every aspect of the life of the Sudanese people.

She noted that all the Sudanese people involved and not involved in these clashes alike have suffered from these calamities. The Sudanese people have already suffered enough, and with the continued conflict, more participating parties, commit more atrocities, and show more fractions and national divisions.

She expressed her great concern to see these horrific manifestations of the conflict and the consequent suffering for every child, woman and man, and she asked all the participating parties, with every heart and firmness, stopping fighting and engaging in good faith in dialogue and peace negotiations.
