The director of the Ministry of Promotion, Islam Salama, told Al -Muqheqiq Al -Akhbar website: There are programs for all state institutions to develop priority projects during the coming period.

He pointed out that the programs focus on infrastructure projects and the rehabilitation of cities and villages affected by the war.

Mr. Salama expected the flow of reconstruction projects to all affected areas of the war during the coming period.

He emphasized the existence of development projects in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance in addition to projects related to the energy field, indicating that coordination with all ministries related to projects.

Islam Salama revealed that there are two meetings in the next stage, the Sudanese Egyptian Forum, which will be held next June instead of April and a joint committee between the public and private sector will be held to prepare for it in Port Sudan.

He said that “the projects that will be presented at the Sudanese Egyptian Forum will be through the private sector and the government sector.”

He added that the initiative presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia focuses on developing the fields of energy, electricity and water.

He continued: “The state will work to define priority projects in the first six months.”

He added, “These projects will be offered to companies of great weight in terms of experience and financial ability.”

He explained that the second forum is the Sudanese -Turkish forum, and it will be held during the coming period in Port Sudan and will be offered reconstruction projects in the field of industry, free zones, logistical services for ports and the rehabilitation of infrastructure.

Salama stressed that “the field of investment is open in all countries and is not limited to specific countries. Welcome to receive investment projects from all countries.”
