A Sudanese engineer presents an amazing vision on Khartoum Airport

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- A Sudanese engineer said that the losses of Khartoum International Airport, according to the former director of civil aviation, are estimated at 3 billion dollars.

The engineer indicated that the time to transport the airport came outside the residential areas in Khartoum.

He noted that financing the new airport from selling the old airport land, which is a very, very huge area and in the heart of Khartoum.

He said that the airport area extending from the Green Square to the General Command, where thousands of special meters for sale.

He added, “On the other hand, a new land is possessed for the airport outside the residential areas, its financial value is much less,” he added.

He pointed out that the new airport is narrowed after security and insurance and environmental for housing and citizens of the air movement and the accompanying noise.
