Khartoum announces new developments regarding the decision to prevent the rebuilding of destroyed buildings

The Ministry of Planning and Urban Development, the General Administration of Buildings, in Khartoum State, issued a decision to control the rebuilding or restoration of buildings that were destroyed in the capital.

The decision sparked a lot of controversy among the citizens who returned to their homes in Khartoum or those who wish to return, whether from outside Sudan or from the safe states, after a large wave of displacement witnessed in the capital in which the war was launched in the year 2023 AD.

The aim of the decision is the safety and lives of the population

The penalties for those who violate the decision of the authorities regarding the buildings

The Ministry of Planning had obligated all workers in the construction and construction sector (companies- contractors contractors, not to start any work for private and public buildings scattered and affected by the war demolition and removal- maintenance- restoration, rehabilitation, before referring to the administration in order to make technical evaluation for them and to ensure public safety and the necessary action, and said that everyone who contradicts this exposes themselves to legal accountability according to what is stipulated in the laws And construction regulations.
