He emphasized the readiness of electricity companies to cooperate with the state of Khartoum to return the electrical current to all the areas that have left the service.

He explained that the priority now is to restore electricity to service sites and then turn to the rest of the states in the state.

The governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Othman Hamza, praised the great efforts made by the workers in the electricity sector, and their role in stabilizing the electrical supply with a number of vital facilities and residential areas in the state, despite the targeting of the rebel militia to the stations and lines of electricity.

The governor said that these efforts had a direct impact on the stability of basic services, as it contributed to the survival of citizens in their homes and reduced displacement and the continuation of civil life.
