Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Joint National Committee between the Missiriya and Dinka Naquk tribes declared the military presence of the Rapid Support militia in the Al-Naam Market area, 15 km north of Abyei, on the border between Sudan and southern Sudan. I considered it a direct threat to societal stability in the demilitarized area.

According to the Darfur 24 website, ten vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces entered the market and carried out widespread arrests, which sparked a wave of tension among the population.

UN reports stated that the increasing spread of the security forces of southern Sudan and the elements of the Janjaweed inside Abyei constitutes a clear violation of the 2011 administrative arrangements agreement between Khartoum and Juba, which requires an urgent review of the military deployment in an area that is supposed to be demilitarized.
