The Presidency of the Egyptian Republic reveals the details of the meeting of the proof and the Sisi

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received, yesterday evening, in the city of El-Alamein, the first team, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereign Council.

The spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawi, said that the meeting witnessed the discussion of the developments of the field conditions in Sudan, as well as the regional and international efforts made to restore peace and stability there.

During the meeting, the Egyptian President affirmed the constants of the Egyptian position supporting the unity, sovereignty, security and stability of Sudan, and stressed Egypt’s readiness to make every possible effort in this context.

The two sides agreed on the importance of intensifying endeavors aimed at providing support and support to the brotherly Sudanese people, in light of their severe humanitarian conditions due to the ongoing conflict.

The spokesperson pointed out that the talks also touched on ways to enhance bilateral relations, including efforts to reconstruct Sudan and open new horizons for joint cooperation, especially in the economic fields, which reflects the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards achieving complementarity and mutual development.

He noted that the meeting also dealt with developments in the regional situation, especially in the Nile Basin and the African Horn, where the congruence of the visions of the two countries was emphasized regarding the priorities related to national security, and their keenness to continue coordination and joint work to protect water security, and reject unilateral measures in the Blue Nile Basin, while emphasizing the need to respect the rules of international law in a way that achieves the common interests of all the countries of the basin.
