Rapid support sets conditions for a ceasefire

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The Legal Adviser to the Rapid Support Militia, Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Nour, said that his forces will not accept any truce to cease fire, partial or other, in El Fasher or other regions.

He noted, according to the Middle East, that its forces have not received any official contact from the United Nations or the United States, as it is reported, regarding the declared armistice plan.

He pointed out that the city of Al -Fasher became empty after thousands of civilians left it to the “long”, “Karma” and “Jabal Marra” areas, and that those in Al -Fasher are fighters who follow the Sudanese army and the joint forces of the armed movements allied with it.

Al -Mukhtar said that the “Rapid Support Forces” will only accept a comprehensive ceasefire, linked to a political process to stop the war and address the crisis in Sudan from its roots.
