Fear and panic control the city of Abu Qouta

Follow-up- Al-Zawiya Net- The city of Abu Qouta in the state of Al-Jazeera lives a tragedy and a state of chaos and security chaos, due to the recurrence of crimes and exotic thefts on the city without the police and other regular forces being able to carry out its duty towards citizens and their property.

Abu Qouta’s resistance committees said in a statement that several crimes that occurred in the city were reported recently, as a commercial boutique shop was subjected to Friday, inside the market, immediately after the Maghrib prayer.

A citizen was also looted at his home at gunpoint five days ago, and two days ago, a screen was stolen from a house under the threat of weapons.

She pointed out that despite the presence of the police and other regular forces in the city, she was unable to carry out their duty towards citizens and their property, which led to the spread of a state of fear and anxiety among citizens, who are calling for improving security in the city.

Citizens in Abu Qouta demanded a rapid and effective action by the relevant authorities to improve security, with the need to hold those responsible for this deficit accountable and provide effective solutions to stop these crimes.

The statement said that the impact of these crimes on citizens is great, as they feel fear and concern about their lives and property, with psychological and social stability and the deterioration of confidence in security institutions.

The citizens called for the necessity of radical solutions to improve security in the city of Abu Qouta, and the people of Abu Qouta demanded the authorities concerned to take immediate measures to stop these crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
