Qatar ends the 12 -day confrontations between Israel and Iran

Agencies- Al-Zawiya Net- US President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire is “complete and comprehensive” between Israel and Iran will enter into force with the aim of ending the conflict between the two sides, mediated by the State of Qatar.

While an Iranian official confirmed that Tehran agreed to a ceasefire, it has not yet been issued by Israel.

Trump apparently indicated that Israel and Iran will have some time to complete any ongoing tasks, after which the ceasefire will begin in stages.

“Given that everything will go as it is supposed, which will happen, I would like to congratulate the two countries, Israel and Iran, for having the ability, courage and intelligence to end what should be called the twelve days.”

An official familiar with the negotiations told Reuters that Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani managed to obtain the approval of Tehran during a telephone conversation with Iranian officials.

The official added that Trump informed the Emir of Qatar that Israel agreed to the ceasefire, and the Iranian mission to the United Nations or the Israeli embassy in Washington has yet to respond to separate requests from Reuters to comment.

Hours before this, three Israeli officials indicated that Israel is looking to end its campaign against Iran soon and conveyed this message to the United States.

Meanwhile, Israeli TV Channel 12 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked government ministers not to make any public statements, and it does not seem after calm found its way to the region.

The Israeli army issued warnings to evacuate in less than two hours to residents of areas in the Iranian capital, Tehran, one late on Monday and the other early on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning, the Israeli Army Radio spoke of the activation of the warning devices in the south of the Golan Heights due to fears of the infiltration of hostile aircraft.

Earlier, Trump said he would encourage Israel to move forward towards peace after he reduced the Iranian attack on an American air base. The Iranian attack did not lead to injuries. Trump thanked Tehran for the notification early before the attacks.
